After a long, long time abroad, my sister is finally back home now! But that was not after we went to Nottingham for her graduation ceremony (and well.. I just had to see Oxford Street with all the Christmas decoration, so off I went to London afterwards - which might have been a bad idea. Maybe.)

Blast from the past: When in Rome...

It's been two years since my trip to Rome, and I've been wanting to make a scrapbook ever since. But then again, there are so many things I wanted to do which I still haven't done - and this scrapbook was (is?!) one of them. Now that I'm having a gap year, and all I have to focus on is working (okay, and figuring out what I want to study from September on) I had the time to go through my enormous photo database *cough cough* and get some of them printed. And yes, I might have gone a bit crazy as a stack of 300 pictures was delivered at my house a few weeks ago.

Having these photos and an empty scrapbook, I guess the time has come to finally put it together :) can't wait! But first, a little flashback to one of the best trips I've ever made ..

Winter has really kicked in now, but I like it! Okay, it's really really really cold outside, but isn't that a great excuse for a huge cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream? Always look on the bright side of life!

As I had a 'I-have-to-work-on-my-portfoliooooooo!!!'-day last Thursday, I dragged my buddy Taoufik with me for a long walk through the city after work. Result? Lots of walking, lots of fun, lots of laughs .. and a few pictures :) 

10 days into the year, 2 new year's resolutions down

Okay, so maybe I didn't really plan on committing to any resolutions because I know that I won't be able to stick to them, but if I would have planned any of them, two of them would be
1) Eat more healty food!
2) Spend less moneeeeeey
Both very cliché, but true. Now why did I fail to achieve these two "goals"?

Hello 2012!

A year in which we all supposedly come to an end on December the 21st and in which we will be expecting a 'horror winter' over here, super volcanoes will erupt and every country will be struck by an earthquake, followed by every other imaginable natural disaster and what else, but hey, also the year in which I make my blogging comeback :)
