The Cherrytree Pop Alternative Tour

Party Rock was in the house on Thursday! Matthew Koma, Far East Movement and LMFAO's RedFoo live in the Heineken Music Hall, together with the Party Rock Crew :)

It's no secret that I am a fan of the Far East Movement, and one could easily call me a groupie (All I want is Kev, all I want is Kev Kev Kev!) and I could sing LMFAO's Shots all day long at work (although I'd be singing about shots of espresso then) so when I found out they'd be performing in Amsterdam on March 1, I had to go!

Opening act was Mr. Matthew Koma, who left the stage again after a short, but wonderful performance. I wish I could post a video of him on stage, but apparently my camera just couldn't take his awesomeness because all you can hear is 'KSSSCHHGGGRRRRRSSCHHHGGGGGGGKKKKGGGGG'. So no video. Can't wait to hear more of him!

After a quick break in which me and my friend Sarah shuffled our way a bit closer to the stage, FM got on stage and got the party started as the crowd went crazy over their 'Like a G6', 'Girls on the Dance Floor' and 'So What'. They also got us all hyped up about their new album, and therefore performed their new song Live My Life which features Justin Bieber! Unfortunately, this One Time, Mr. Bieber wasn't on stage to perform it with them. Or maybe they never perform it together? Oh well.. Never Say Never.
Yes, that was lame.
Proh just loves to stage dive!

Party Rock is in the Hoooooouse tonight! Afterwards it was finally time for Redfoo and the Party Rock Crew to take over the stage - unfortunately SkyBlu couldn't be there as he hurt is back :( After having the whole crowd wishing SkyBlu a fast recovery ('SkyBluuuuuuuuuu get well soon!') he quickly got on with what they were here for: rocking the house! And yup, that was a succes.
Shufflebot is sexy and he knows it.

Totally loving Amsterdam (and every other city they go to, of course) Redfoo told the crowd a little story about how inspiring Dutch DJ's are all over the world, mentioning Sidney Samson and Afrojack together with some other DJ's. And guess who showed up on stage? AFROJAAAAAAACK! :)
The night ended with them letting everybody know that they were sexy and they knew it, as every time the crowd thought the party was over they'd just start it up again with that one line. And last but not least, they announced that they'd be shooting the video for Live My Life in Amsterdam on March 5, today!
Conclusion? L-M-F-A-O came to make you lose control. I had a wonderful evening and I can't wait to see them live again :) Until then, everyday I'm shufflin'.
