I hope you've had a wonderful holiday season with fine Food, fantastic Friends and fabulous Family (the three, or should I say six, most important F's in life. Not to be confused with the most frequently used F in my life, which I will not type in full in this post as I shall try to keep it clean).
For me, Christmas was off to a good start after finishing my finals and getting the news that I have been selected for my university's exchange programme next fall semester - with a bit of luck I'll be studying at Sydney University next year, so fingers crossed! Also, I couldn't have been in a more Christmassy spirit after a Home Alone marathon (or actually, only parts 1&2 because little Kev vs. anybody else but the Wet/Sticky Bandits is humbug), some DIY'ing and baking.
Result? Lots of pretty shiny stuff that make me very happy - until I have that little heart attack every time I check my bank account. Then again, all stress is gone after waking up after a good night's sleep (which is now finally possible as I have two weeks OFF EVERYTHING *victory dance*) with a good cup of coffee and an episode of Friends (that I've seen 234372915 times, but it's Friends).
Yes, I am 1.5 paycheck poorer but at least I am stylish (sort of), taller (10cm, an that only for 40€) and inspired - I am so hyped over Sydney and I can't wait to see what the rest of the world has to offer. May 2014 be just as inspring to you as it hopefully will be for me, and may the year bring you lots of laughs and love. Stay happy, stay healthy!
