Hello dearest readers! I'm back with yet another long overdue post, but I have to say that this one does concern something very special: I will be leaving for Bali in three days ( 2 days, 23 hours and 4 minutes as I am writing this) - I can't wait!
It started about two months ago when I started thinking about my 3-month summer holiday (yes, three months, WOOHOO!) whilst I was supposed to be paying attention in a very interesting history lecture. It wasn't really a serious plan at first and I'm pretty sure my parents and most of my friends thought it was another one of those things that would blow over soon.
But no! After obsessing about it for two weeks I gathered the courage to apply for one of the volunteer programs and luckily I got accepted - what I forgot, however, is that I only had a month left to get all my paperwork done for my volunteering AND cram for my finals. Having that done now, what's left for me is to check-check-triple-check my checklist and pack my bags as I only have two more days of work to go until I can sit back and relax on a 12-hour flight towards Kuala Lumpur. Wish me luck!
